I was born and brought up in Devon and now live with my partner in Norwich. From an early age I loved drawing, reading, climbing trees, animals and collecting things. A little bit of this can often show through in my working process and also the painting itself. Animals, plants and people are my favourite subjects and I bring that sense of life and movement to many of my canvases.
Murals: When designing a mural I must first experience the space. The shape of the room, sources of light, architectural features...all need to be considered as well as the desire lines of customers/occupants. So, although I will happily bounce ideas around for somewhere I have never seen I can not start any worthwhile work until I have visited the premises. For early correspondance (email or telephone) and a first face-to-face meeting there is no charge.
Acrylic Canvases:
Prices depend on the size and subject matter. Also, if you wish to commission a group of paintings this will take much longer as the time spent designing and executing the works also takes up studio space. I usually have a few painting for sale but these will be no cheaper than custom pieces.
Design work is charged by the hour but these designs are my own until you decide you are happy for me to paint for you. If you want copies of the designs and the right to use them with another artist there is a one-off charge for this.
